Innovation advice

Many inventors and start-ups are enthusiastic about their innovative ideas and are happy to share them with others. However, it is crucial to be cautious about making plans public at an early stage, especially when you are thinking about patent applications and protecting your intellectual property. With my extensive experience as a technical entrepreneur and with more than 30 patents to my name, I know better than anyone how important it is to handle knowledge carefully from the very beginning.

I not only help with sharpening and technically substantiating the concept, but I also advise on patent applications, confidentiality, subsidy applications such as WBSO, industrialization and market introduction. Thanks to my practical experience, I can identify technical and commercial pitfalls in good time and develop a strategy together that maximally protects and increases the value of the innovation.

In addition to advice and strategy, I also offer practical support in further elaborating and developing the concept. Thanks to my broad technical knowledge of electronics, software and mechanics, I can quickly develop prototypes and solve complex issues. In my well-equipped workshop I have CNC machines, (laser) welding equipment, lathes, pick-and-place machines for electronics and a range of measuring and control equipment. This allows me not only to think along, but also to actually help develop, test and optimise. In this way, the concept is efficiently and professionally converted into a working prototype.

For my strategic advice and guidance I charge a rate of €100 per hour. When I actively participate in the technical elaboration or development of prototypes, a rate of €75 per hour applies. I invoice in blocks of four hours so that you keep the investment clear and step-by-step. After each block you will receive a clear overview of the work carried out and you can decide for yourself whether you want to continue.
